In 1949 Eddie and Naomi Williams opened Nu-Rest Bedding in Laclede, Missouri the historic hometown of United States General John J. Pershing. Then and now, residents of this small Mid-western town appreciate the values of honesty and hard work. They take pride in producing Nu-Rest Bedding’s high-quality offerings. “American Made” is not just a slogan taken lightly in this home of America’s greatest general. Our owners have all been locals, and a daily hands-on presence in our manufacturing process. Following the founders Ed & Naomi Williams, Merle Gray, Glen Peers, and Carl Thomas owned Nu-Rest Bedding. Current owners Jane and Terry Milford are proud to be the next caretakers of this recognizable brand name.
